Hello!
I'm a scientist that focuses on specialized metabolite biochemistry in plants. I've worked with Trees, Crops, Arabidopsis, and Cannabis.
I am an assistant professor at the University of the Fraser Valley. This Primarily undergraduate institution is located primarily in Abbotsford and Chilliwack British Columbia.
I focus on the biochemistry of small molecules in plant and fungal species. From pathways, to chemical ecology, if you're under 1,500 Daltons I am interested.
I have extensive experience in small molecule analysis, corporate consultation, product development, and researcher training. I am always open to connect and work with people and organizations throughout the Fraser Valley.
Prior to UFV, I have worked as a formulation chemist, an analytical chemist, a mass spectrometry expert and a biochemist for plant trait development.
